What They Say.

We stayed at Silverski recently and I couldn’t recommend it enough. The lodge Manager Georgie and all the staff couldn’t be more friendly and helpful. We stayed for a week in room 215 and it was fantastic! Two and a half bedroom apartment, the main bedrooms both with en-suites and a huge kitchen/dining/lounge area overlooking a great view of the snow out of the living room. We all agreed it was great value for money and excellent customer service from Georgie and her team. The dishwasher stopped working and Georgie arranged two electricians to sort it immediately. Shout out to Speedy and Mark for fixing our dishwasher. We also had a magnificent dinner in the restaurant downstairs - someplace else - highly recommend! Do yourself a favour and treat yourself to a meal at someplace else, you won’t be disappointed. The food is so delicious and the owners are lovely. Georgie and her team and also the staff at the restaurant downstairs made us feel so welcome. It was truly magical skiing from the top of the mountain all the way to our front door. We have such wonderful memories of our week at Falls creek. We were so lucky getting a mix of fresh snow, sunshine and gorgeous views. Thank you!

Very lovely lodge in a great central location, rooms are fresh, clean and comfortable, loved the extra touches like the plunger coffee in the rooms and the large plastic bags to take home wet ski gear which can be the case with Australian snow especially if you ski on the day you are checking out. Kate the Manager and her staff couldn’t do enough to help especially when things went a bit wrong for us. For that we are very grateful. Sadly though the on-site restaurant, which used to be a fabulous warm cosy venue, has changed hands and is now leased out separately. The cool atmosphere and service of the restaurant is in stark contrast to the warmth and friendliness of the lodge unfortunately. Head down the road to Pretty Valleys Cock n Bull for an equally warm and friendly dining experience with great food in a quaint English pub.

Well located, <5-8min walk to main lift and <10min to village bowl. Of course is ski in and out as well. Rooms are small, as are all reasonably priced accom on the mountain, it’s clean and well maintained. Doesn’t have a lift which is a minor inconvenience when carrying equipment/bags. Very useful drying room. Units are individually owned, the manager is very friendly and helpful. Has a good restaurant on ground floor. Wifi didn’t work the whole time we were there. The only other con was the lack of noise insulation, was quite loud trying to get a young family to sleep
